Women’s Ministry Overview

Governing Board
Our governing board consists of the following:
Chairwoman, Assistant Chairwoman, Secretary and Treasurer.

Chairwoman – She presides over all meetings of the members and of the Governing Board. She is our parish contact person and oversees all activities of the SJN Women’s Ministry.

Assistant Chairwoman – She substitutes when the Chairwoman is unable to fulfill her responsibility for any function or meeting. As Assistant Chairwoman, she is ‘in training’ and will become the Chairwoman when elections of new officers take place in the following year. This means she is making a 2 year commitment to serve on the Governing Board – her first year is as Assistant Chairwoman followed by her second year as Chairwoman.

Secretary – She takes minutes of each meeting of the SJN Women’s Ministry and of the Governing Board. These minutes are available to each member and to the parish as a whole.

Treasurer – She is in charge of all financial transactions. She presents monthly reports or will report as needed. These financial reports are available to each member and to the parish as a whole.
