Modern medicine is rediscovering the whole person and the church today is reclaiming its role in the ministry of healing. Faith communities are places of spiritual care, but we are also places that affect parish members’ knowledge, behavior and physical health. Health ministry promotes health and well being through the interplay of

Health and spirituality are truly related. Health Ministry assists with the health and spiritual needs of our community in some of the following ways:  

Health screenings such as blood pressure, diabetes,  cholesterol and free breast exams for qualifying women Classes on healthy lifestyles such as nutrition, disease  prevention and stress management Parenting and other family life classes Home and hospital visitation Advocacy and information on accessing health care
