Alter Servers The Altar Server is the oldest and most time-honored of the lay ministries. Boys and Girls in the 4th grade or above are invited to participate. Teens and adults are invited as well. Formal practice sessions are held in the church to introduce the new altar server to the order of the Mass. Call: John Cappella 440-6348 |

Bereavement Ministry Specially selected and trained parishioners provide guidance and support during the funeral planning process upon the death of a loved one. Call Ann Pelot 244-9761 |
| Eucharistic Minister for the Liturgy Specially selected active and prayerful parishioners assist the celebrant at Mass in the distribution of the Holy Eucharist as well as bring the Eucharist to the sick and homebound unable to attend Mass. | Lectors and Commentators Lectors proclaim aloud the first and second readings and occasionally lead the faithful in the responsorial psalm. The commentator leads the Prayer of the Faithful, introduces Mass to the faithful, and makes announcements. Call Joe Quiros at (949) 857-7936. |

| Liturgy Committee The parish Liturgy Committee is responsible for coordinating the efforts of all the church ministries involved in our Eucharistic and Sacramental celebrations (Eucharistic ministries, lectors and commentators, choirs and folk music groups, ushers, altar servers, designers of church art and environment, and planning of the children’s liturgies). The Liturgy Committee also coordinates the overall planning for the major liturgical seasons such as Lent, Easter, Pentecost, and Advent. | Ushers and Greeters These individuals welcome people to the celebration of God’s presence among us at the Mass. Ushers and greeters build up our community of faith through the extending of their hands and hearts to the parish community. Call Guy Gottschalk at (949) 857-7936. |
