Faith Formation is an opportunity to encounter the Living Christ. We, at St. John Neumann, strive to provide the knowledge our children need to walk closer with Jesus. With this knowledge, a personal relationship with Jesus is the reward. He is the strength and the light needed for our lifelong spiritual journey.
St. John Neumann’s Faith Formation Program for Children is committed to maintaining a Catholic community of companions on the journey in their faith development and towards global service, and life-long learning.
We live this out by showing respect to all people, by being responsible for our actions, by showing reverence and by making right choices
- All children are a part of a global community of life long learners.
- Students seeking religious education should have equal access to the religious education program regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, learning style, physical challenges or economic limitations.
- To build a spiritual foundationupon which our students develop Catholic morals and value
The Children in our Faith Formation for Children Program have many opportunities for growth in their faith development through social activities, age appropriate retreats, reflective prayer experiences, Children's Liturgy of theWord (during the 8:30a.m. Mass throughout Ordinary Time), and participation in the Sacraments.
The Faith Formation for Children Program exists to provide faith formation for children (four years of age through 8th grade) who do not attend Catholic school. This program is committed to sharing the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ with knowledge, faithfulness, enthusiasm and joy.
Classes are held from September through the end of May.
